The Main Ingredient: Wax

The base of any wax melt is, unsurprisingly, wax. But not all wax is the same. The most common types used in wax melts are:

Soy Wax

Made from hydrogenated soybean oil, soy wax is the most popular choice for quality wax melts. It's natural, biodegradable, and burns cleaner than paraffin. Soy wax also has a lower melting point, which means it releases fragrance more gently and consistently — giving you a longer-lasting scent throw.

Gel Wax

Gel wax is a mineral oil-based wax with a translucent, jelly-like appearance. Paraffin Wax
